Manuka honey sweetens up wounds

In 2007, the US FDA approved the use of Manuka honey for treatment of wounds as it has antibacterial and anti-oxidant properties, with the added advantage of keeping the area of the wound moist and providing a protective barrier against further infections. This video shows how we use Manuka honey to help heal nasty wounds from cat bite abscesses  - a common occurrence in Dubai.
