Intubating our patients

Published: 19 Nov 2017

In order for a patient to remain under anaesthetic, we need to have access to their wind pipe. This is done by placing an endotracheal tube into the wind pipe and then attaching it to a supply of oxygen and the anesthetic gas. They will then remain under anaesthesia and asleep for as long as we need them to be for the procedure.
