Blood Transfusions

Sometimes we need to give blood transfusions to patients who are struggling with anaemia. This is done for both dogs and cats and in this video we see a charming little pug getting life saving blood. He received blood donated by a large dog that fulfilled all the necessary health requirements to be a blood donor. Our little pug was monitored carefully for any reactions tot he transfusion in real time, and we are happy to report he is doing well.
